ABOUT HOBO JON

HOBO JON

The name Hobo Jon is a tribute to my late husband who loved to dress up as a Hobo and collect money for charities. I love to sew and wanted to do something that gave me enjoyment and my love of handbags seemed to fit the bill. The rose is a symbol of all the roses my husband gave me over 60 years

My Work

I have designed the hobo bags to be very functional and strong. All seams are triple or more stitched and interfaced to give the material strength.Highest quality fabrics are used for all the hobo bags. Most have 6 or more pockets and a matching button closure. I love to play around with material ideas so you will note a wide variety. Reversible bags love rough treatment so don't be afraid to push or pull !
